Work Health And Safety Policy

Mineral Process Control (MPC) Pty Ltd is a manufacturer of chemicals and equipment for the gold mining and assaying industries.

We believe that the well-being of people employed at work, or people affected by our work, and the environment in which we operate, is a priority and must be considered during all activities under our control. 

We consider our people to be our most important asset and that health and safety is everyone’s responsibility.
The safety of the public and the environment is given equal priority to that of our employees.

The objectives of this policy are to, as far as reasonably practicable:

• achieve a safe and incident free workplace
• consider WHS in project planning and all our work activities
• establish measurable objectives and targets to ensure continued improvement aimed at eliminating work related injury and illness
• involve our employees in the decision-making process through regular communication and consultation
• ensure our employees identify and control risks in the workplace
• monitor and review the elimination, or control of potential risks
• enhance employees’ WHS knowledge through a program of education and training
• comply with relevant WHS legislation and guidelines.

The success of our WHS management depends on:

• the commitment of all persons to achieving the policy objectives
• planning work activities, with due consideration given to WHS
• undertaking the risk management process in an effective manner
• effective communication and consultation with all employees. 
• we are committed to fulfilling the objectives of this policy and expect the same of all our employees.
