Laboratory Centrifuge
Mineral Process Control’s low speed centrifuge is an ideal accessory for the laboratory performing cyanide-extractable gold analyses by bottle roll or tumbler.
Settling times are no longer a problem. Most samples provide enough volume of clear solution for solvent extraction AAS finish in less than 5 minutes.
The machine has a capacity of 52 samples of up to 100mL volume each.
An acceleration of around 280xg is produced at full speed. Typically however, suitable settling is achieved at considerably lower speeds such as 100 / 200xg.
The centrifuge is designed to use low cost, disposable plastic sample cups.
Machine operating parameters such as speed, acceleration and deceleration times are all fully programmable.
Power requirements for the standard equipment are 240VAC, 50Hz at 15A.
